The Great Robbery on the Fourth Day of the Lunar New Year— Written by Peter Li-Chang Kuo ( Chinese ) Today is the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, known as “ Welcoming the Deities Day .” On the 24th day of the twelfth lunar month of the previous year, the deities are ceremonially sent back to Heaven to report to the higher realms on all human affairs of the past year.
